# How to connect Google (existing user registration flow)

#### **1. Go to your website**
From the Tapper sidebar, click **one the name of your website**.

###  2. Add another entity 
Click on 'Add another entity' button on the top right hand corner.

#### **3. Connect your Google Ads account**
Under “Connect Google Ads,” click **Continue with Google**.

#### **4. Select your Google Ads account**
* Choose the account(s) you want to protect
* Then click **Connect**

#### **5. Confirm protection is active**
Once connected, you’ll land on the **Manage Google protection** tab.
* Your ad account will be listed.
* Tapper will automatically begin detecting and filtering invalid traffic.
* You can now toggle protection on/off for each campaign.

||| Important: Set Up or Verify Tracking Templates

To ensure full click tracking functionality, Tapper automatically applies a tracking template at the **Account Level**. If you override this at lower levels (Campaign, Ad Group, or Ad), Tapper might not detect clicks properly.
