How to enable Google Ads protection in Tapper

1. Go to protected websites

From the Tapper sidebar, click Protected Websites.

2. Select a website or add a new one

• If you already see your website, click on it.
• Click on the website you want to protect if you didn't add a website yet, here’s how you can do it.

Open Google protection settings

Click on the tab Manage Google protection.

4. Add Google integration

Click Add another Ads account (top-right button).

5. Connect your Google Ads account

Under “Connect Google Ads,” click Continue with Google.

6. Select your Google Ads account

You’ll see a screen like this:

• Choose the account(s) you want to protect
• Then click Connect

7. Confirm protection is active

Once connected, you’ll land on the Manage Google protection tab.

• Your ad account will be listed.
• Tapper will automatically begin detecting and filtering invalid traffic.
• You can now toggle protection on/off for each campaign.

To ensure full click tracking functionality, Tapper automatically applies a tracking template at the Account Level. If you override this at lower levels (Campaign, Ad Group, or Ad), Tapper might not detect clicks properly.
