Block IPs for a Certain Period
Since IP addresses are dynamic and can change over time, Tapper does not block IPs indefinitely. This feature helps prevent click fraud attacks while ensuring that legitimate customers aren't blocked for an extended period.
We recommend using the default setting of 30 days; however, you can adjust this setting to any value between 1 and 90 days.
For example, if an IP clicked on your ad four times, with the last click occurring on May 3rd at 8:00, and you set the "Block IPs for a Certain Period" feature to 7 days, the IP will be blocked from may 3rd until may 10th at 8:00.
Please note that the IP may be released earlier if the total number of blocked IP addresses exceeds 500.
